Outdoor Sauna Kits

More to it.

Built on a Rock-Solid Foundation

A lifelong outdoor sauna starts with a proper foundation that prevents settling, shifting, or rot. We use proven, durable options—concrete piers, helical piles, crushed stone pads, paver systems, full concrete slabs, or integration with an existing deck—tailored to your site and soil.

If you’re adding an electric heater or lighting, we plan ahead: a simple 18-inch-deep trench with protected conduit brings power safely to your sauna, keeping everything code-compliant and worry-free.

Electric VS Wood Fired Outdoor Saunas

Outdoor saunas can be powered by either electric or wood-fired heaters, each offering a distinct experience and set of requirements. Electric saunas provide convenience and precision—heat-up is as simple as the push of a button, temperatures are easy to control, and ongoing use requires minimal effort. However, they do require substantial electrical infrastructure, including a high-voltage connection, trenching and buried conduit from the home, and a dedicated breaker in your main panel. This can add cost and complexity depending on the distance from the house and site conditions.

Wood-fired saunas offer a more traditional, hands-on experience and greater flexibility in placement. Because they do not rely on electrical service for heating, they can be installed fully off-grid (aside from optional low-voltage or battery-powered lighting). Many people appreciate the softer, more natural heat and the ritual of tending the fire. While they require more involvement to operate and maintain, wood-fired saunas are often ideal for remote locations or for those seeking a more authentic sauna experience.
