  • Sauna Finishes

For the interior of your sauna, we never apply stains, polyurethanes, or any finishes that could off-gas toxic fumes, produce odors, or become hot to the touch when the sauna is in use.

Instead, we recommend treating the wood with a specially formulated, sauna-rated wax or paraffin oil. This protective coating allows water to bead on the surface, dramatically slows wood degradation from repeated heat and moisture cycles, and prevents body oils from penetrating the wood—keeping benches and backrests looking fresh and clean longer, even in high-traffic areas.

Our standard finish is clear, preserving the natural beauty and aroma of the wood. However, through our trusted supplier we can tint the sauna wax in virtually any color imaginable, giving you complete design freedom.

The fixture can be paired with a dimmer switch for adjustable ambiance.
